  • The scheme:

    The new financial aid scheme is designed to encourage the diversification of jobs held by women and their promotion within the company, with the aim of reducing professional inequalities between women and men.

    It applies to both private-law employers and public-sector entities employing staff under private-law conditions.

  • Public concerned:

    Actions may concern either female jobseekers or women employed by a company (on permanent or fixed-term contracts, or on temporary contracts of at least six months).

    Awareness-raising initiatives can also be aimed at men.

  • Targeted actions:

    Vocational training actions: adaptation, job resumption, qualifying training actions linked to the recruitment or promotion of one or more female employees enabling the development of gender diversity in jobs or women's access to positions of responsibility...

    Fitting out workstations to improve ergonomics and make them more accessible and attractive (such as more manageable work tools...)

    Fitting out premises to promote professional co-education (separate male-female showers)

    Actions to raise awareness, provide information or training in professional equality

  • Aid amounts:

    The State contributes up to a maximum of 50% of the expenses related to the realization of the contract (educational costs of training, adaptation of workstations...) and up to a maximum of 30% concerning the cost of employee remuneration during the training period.

  • Procedure:

    The contract request must be sent by the company's management, after consultation with the staff, to the departmental project manager.

    The award decision then falls to the Préfet de Région, who co-signs a contract with the company.
