The different stages of our skills assessment

The skills assessment is a service increasingly in demand by professionals wishing to take stock of all their skills, career aspirations and potential. According to a 2021 study conducted by the French Ministry of Labor, Employment and Integration, nearly 60% of employees have already undergone a skills assessment during their professional career.
With our training center Alphéa'Cademy, the skills assessment is above all a tailor-made accompaniment, which takes place in 4 phases, over several individual sessions:

Step 1: Preliminary interview

As a first step, one of our consultants will take the time to get to know you in order to understand your expectations and needs. This interview is the first step in your career path, and helps to establish initial contact.

Step 2: Tests and questionnaires

You will be offered various tests and questionnaires to assess your skills. The aim of these questionnaires is to highlight your interests, your technical skills (60%), your interpersonal skills (40%) and your professional motivations (30%). Each test is customized to your profile and background. Test duration may vary according to your profile and expectations.

Step 3: Face-to-face interview

Following your various tests, we arrange a face-to-face interview to discuss your results in greater depth. These interviews enable us to discuss your professional experience, your technical and cross-disciplinary skills, your personal and professional aspirations, and your career development prospects.

We take the time necessary to support you as best we can within your career path.

Step 4: Results feedback

The results of your skills assessment will be returned to you in the form of a written and oral summary. This assessment highlights your technical skills, motivations and aptitudes. Our consultants will support you well beyond the restitution and will not hesitate to promote your profile to their partner clients.

Funding your skills assessment

There are several ways to finance your skills assessment:

Personal training account (CPF)

The skills assessment can be financed through the Compte Personnel de Formation (CPF), a procedure simplified since the 2019 reform of professional training. Over 50% of our customers opt for this method of financing, which is also available to civil servants.

Self-financing

For those who want to get started quickly on their skills assessment without waiting for funding agreements from the relevant organizations or Pôle emploi, self-financing is a practical option.

Fund it with your employer's training plan

Companies can fully fund their employees' skills assessment via the skills development plan.

Finance it via Aide individuelle à la formation (AIF - France Travail)

Jobseekers are entitled to apply to the Pôle emploi for funding for their skills assessment. Deadlines are fairly short, so you can get started quickly on your skills assessment.
