Who better than an expert who fell into it as a kid?


Bertrand De WITTE, our French-Belgian expert in the bakery/pastry sector, began his career in Belgium working with passionate artisans. He learned the rudiments of the trade from the bakery elite, MOFs (such as Marc DEBAILLEUL) and pastry experts like Christine FERBER (pastry chef in Alsace, nicknamed "la fée des confitures").

With all this experience behind him, Bertrand has always been keen to pass on his expertise and knowledge to as many people as possible. To this end, he has passed on his passion for baking for years through courses at his home in Brussels.
Enthused by human contact, and with an unfailing desire to learn, Bertrand chose to pursue his studies with a triple Master's degree in Business Management, HR Management and Sociology.
Passionate about entrepreneurship, Bertrand was keen to put his expertise to work for companies, so he co-founded and led a networking network organizing afterworks and inviting inspiring business leaders to discuss various issues and current affairs. At the age of 35, Bertrand became Sales and Marketing Director for a leading B2B industrial group in France. He heads up a department that manages 1,500 industrial customers in France. After a few years, Bertrand wants to give his career a new boost, return to coaching assignments and, above all, take the plunge into entrepreneurship.

In 2023, he joined the Alphea Conseil network and opened the
Alphea Conseil Fontainebleau accompanied by Jean-François Lacour, Ile de France manager.
He now manages a team of recruiters in Fontainebleau, near Paris.
