2nd edition of the "New Deal Auvergne": 100 additional job offers

On Monday, Auvergne offered an additional 100 job vacancies, along with help with geographical mobility, as part of the region's second "New Deal", bringing the total number of opportunities to 200.
These new vacancies will be available from Tuesday on the operation's website, www.newdeal-en-auvergne.fr. Candidates have until January 18 to apply.
As with the first 100 offers made on November 18, those recruited who move to Auvergne will have their rent reimbursed during their trial period, as part of an aid package capped at 3,000 euros that can also cover moving expenses. They will also receive "tailor-made support to help them settle in, such as finding an apartment, or a job for their spouse".
The positions to be filled cover a wide range of sectors, from new technologies to agri-food, healthcare and services, and are aimed at all levels of qualification. More than a thousand people applied for the 100 job vacancies on offer on November 18.
The region also put forward 100 offers to take over Auvergne companies. At the same time, it is launching a call for projects to support business start-ups in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector: applicants under 30 have until January 31, 2014 to apply on the www.newdealnewideas.fr website. The ten selected will receive a salary, accommodation and an office offered for six months.
The first edition of the "New Deal Auvergne" in 2012 had attracted, in one month, 5,000 applications from all over France, according to the Agence des Territoires d'Auvergne, which leads these projects for the region.
