To put it simply, at the start of a career, the different levels of qualifications required are: CAP, Bac pro, brevet professionnel for manual labor (mason, plumber, painter....), from Bac pro to BTS for technicians (design office draughtsman, HVAC draughtsman, etc.), from BTS to Bac +5 and engineering diploma for construction engineer, public works engineer and other management positions (site supervisor, site manager, project manager, etc.).
