Alphéa Conseil recruitment agency sets up in Angoulême!

Gaëlle Cheval officially launched her recruitment agency, Alphea Conseil, in early November. The generalist agency operates on the outskirts of Angoulême, less than 45 minutes from Cognac, Ruffec and Barbezieux.

Located north of Angoulême, in Gond-Pontouvre, on the Lagora site, the agency's premises are housed in a former factory rehabilitated as a coworking space. The working environment is friendly and very pleasant, with a waterfront location and parking spaces.

She's all about versatility

At the age of 34, Gaëlle Cheval is the mother of two young children and has no shortage of energy to take on several projects at once. Born in Angoulême, she knows the region well and loves it. That's why she decided to work here, all the more so as the Charente has strong development potential in terms of recruitment, where competitors are not legion.

"The Charente employment basin is booming. It's important to be versatile and to be able to recruit in all sectors of activity", explains the branch manager.

Expertise in recruitment

Gaëlle Cheval already has several years' experience in recruitment. Right from her HR degree, she worked at Décathlon where she was Shelf Manager and in charge of recruiting seasonal workers. Then, in 2011, she joined her first temp agency as Recruitment Manager, before moving on to another agency as Business Manager and Agency Manager. She was subsequently hired by Adecco PME as Business Manager, and then by CESI as Customer and Candidate Relations Manager, where she recruited work-study students for various clients.

She is also a member of the Adecco PME team.

"I couldn't get my head around it anymore in terms of quality. I no longer had the time to get to know my companies.
I applied to Alphea Conseil because I want to put the right people in the right place, supporting companies," comments Gaëlle.

The branch manager is assisted by a Recruitment Manager, Léa Reix, who is studying for a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management. "Léa handles the sourcing of candidates, pre-qualification interviews, and accompanies me on company visits to find out about customer positions. She'll also be responsible for managing a pool of customers", details the branch manager.

The strength of a network

On the other hand, Gaëlle emphasizes how lucky she is to be part of a network.

"I can, for example, rely on the Bordeaux team, which is bigger and already has some experience. It's sometimes important to have an outside eye to refocus and be guided. Plus, it's always interesting to discover other ways of working."

The Alphea Conseil network is also a network of specialists in their field(s) who are well versed in the professions for which they recruit.

"Everyone contributes their knowledge and can activate the network, especially when it comes to recruiting for a penurious profession."

Gaëlle fully embraces the values of Alphea Conseil.
