Recruitment: a strong start in New Aquitaine

Equipe Cabinet de recrutement BordequxWith twenty years' experience in retail, Rudy Bellamy has been the director of Agence Alphéa Conseil for the Nouvelle Aquitaine region for over a year. A mission that puts him at the forefront of observing job market trends, across all sectors.

Recruitment: a state of mind

A native of Northern France, the cradle of mass retailing, Rudy Bellamy has held numerous positions in this sector.

"As a true autodidact, I worked my way through the ranks to become Director of major national chains".

He owes his success to his pugnacity, and to the collaborators they worked with, who enabled him to achieve common goals.

In 2008, Rudy settled in Bordeaux, with his wife, a trainer, executive coach and specialist in marketing strategy and sales support.

2019 marks a turning point in this ch'ti's career.

"I met Ludovic D'hooghe, founder of Alphéa Conseil, and I quickly realized that I'd been recruiting without knowing it for years, through the various positions I'd held. Because running a company also means knowing who you're putting in where, to carry out what mission, and, ultimately, making sure the company wins."

From this meeting, one thing became clear: Rudy now wants to put his skills at the service of people and companies sensitive to his empathetic approach. He wants to participate in the development of this city he loves so much!

One goal: to change candidates' lives

In charge of the development of ten departments in the New Aquitaine region, Rudy surrounds himself with the best collaborators. Some are specialized in talent hunting. Others are consultants, from different backgrounds, but all applying a methodology specific to Alphéa Conseil, proven over 15 years.

"In addition to finding the best skills for each position, we strive to find what we call "the extra soul", i.e. a person with situational intelligence and a temperament that we know is totally compatible with that of the manager and the teams in place."

"Think global, act local"

This perfect adaptation between human and strategy, Rudy owes it to his presence with each of his customers.

"You can't know what profile to really look for if you haven't visited your customer. If you haven't met his employees, visited his factories, attended inventories, even if you have to get up at 5 o'clock in the morning to do so...".

The day after tomorrow, artificial intelligence will certainly be able to recruit skills... but it won't be able to find that "extra soul" that is Alphéa Conseil's strength today. Whether they post sales of 5 or 500 million euros, the Group's customers are not mistaken.

"They all like us to approach their recruitment as an SME would, because they're all looking for people. That's our added value compared to the big recruitment players who can't get to every one of their customers."

A head full of projects

As proof of this success, the Bordeaux agency will be moving to a 60 m
2, Place de la Bourse. And within the next two and a half years, five more branches are due to open in New Aquitaine.

"The locations will depend on meetings with our future employees. We're not starting out with any fixed ideas. It's by remaining open to all possibilities that we move forward."
