The Senate has adopted the bill reforming vocational training

The Sénat completed its examination and adoptedé yesterday the bill on « orientation and [la] formation professionnelle tout au long de la vie » transposing the agreement on the subject reached between all the social partners in January, with the majorityé voting in favor and the opposition against, except for the PRG. The sénators substantially modified certain provisions, notably concerning the portabilityé of the individual training right à and the Fonds paritaire de sécurisation des parcours professionnels. They also voted in favor of a government amendment banning company internships outside the school curriculum, and another allowing apprentices who have not found an employer to complete their training as vocational training trainees. Enrolled in the accédure procedureélérée, the text must now go through a joint committee before a final vote.
