The kitchen designer-salesperson greets customers, ésects them and helps them àconcretely design their project, àwith the help of plans and specifications. He puts together a personalized file é and negotiates the entire sale é. He then goes to the customer's premises, where he takes measurements and évalues all the technical parameters. Heécoordinates all the work, within the agreed deadlines, and takes care of the after-sales service. He can also offer additional services, particularly with regard to financing. Last but not least, he constantly updates à his customer file and follows up prospects.
He also manages éstocks and orders. Implements sales and advertising campaigns. He sets up sales areas to showcase kitchens and attract customers.
Rigorous and precise, a good salesman with a taste for décoration and good interpersonal skills, he also possesses éspecific technical qualities: perspective drawings, mastery of professional software, knowledge of sécurité standards (gas, plumbing, électricité, évacuation des fumées…)

The kitchen designer-salesperson is in constant contact with the customerèbut also with the administrative and technical staff of the sales outlet. His activityé leads him à to divide his time between the store and his various customersébuilding sites.

Paths and training
A baccalaureate-level diploma is desirable (Bac pro, for example). To progress more quickly, you may also consider a Bac + 2 (BTS or DUT in the field of commerce and sales).

The gross salary of a kitchen sales designer averages between 1,500 € and 3,000 € per month, including bonuses.
