1ère étape : le côté pratique.....

Confirm the appointment for the job interview (de préférence by téléphone or e-mail) and find out how to get çon to your destination. Plan your itinerary à so you don't êt get stuck in traffic on D-day. Give yourself plenty of room to manoeuvre. Arriving à well in advance can êbe a great way to get acquainted with the place and therefore feel àcomfortable more quickly. Keep à on hand the phone number of the person à to contact so that you can be prepared in case of éa possible delay. Note that unreported delays are not excusable.

Estimate the durationéof the interview to properly adjust your other appointments. Look after your presentation

You'll never get a second chance to make a great first impression !

First of all, find out more about the company.

If you know the name of the company we ére considering your application for, it's in your best interest érêt à to gather as much information about it as possible.
This will give you an idea of the companyés activities, size, marketséand even its dynamism, if it has been featured in the press. This will give you a better understanding of its needs.
The sources of information are multiple and à quite transparent with internet.

2ème étape : bien se préparer....

To know oneselfître.....

« You have to know yourselfîwell in order to be able to sell yourself well.... » répète Ludovic D’Hooghe, director of Cabinet Alphéa Conseil.

Learn advertising by heart : it's essential for answering à the famous question : «Why are you interested in this job?» You will then have noted é all the requirements of the position to show, by talking about your professional background and skills, even your diplomas ômes, that you êre the idéal candidate.

How many candidates ask us « but à what’she announces I’ve appliedé déjà? »
This questionénotes déjà the multitude of applications sentées, and a choice suffered more than chosen… The common thread between your career path and your research must êbe chosen, and understood by the recruiter. You can apply for a job in a sector with which you are completely unfamiliar, but be sure to justify your decisioné !

À the question of qualitiesés and défaults, stay on professional ground: you're easy to get on with, you êre rigorous, you êre conscientious, etc.
From the list of faults, choose a fault that won't be detrimental to à your position and try to minimize it. Example: « I'm rather talkative, but I can control myself! » or « I'm hyperactive, but I'm working on it....)

Your career path....

Don't forget to train à décrire your career path.... Often the same question : « Tell me about your career path » : 80% of the interview is going to be about your career path, so train îyourself à to make a résumé clear, precise, not too fast though. Be Factual ! Coming from the professional environment we recruit for, we know the companies we meet you for inside out. The « many »,  the « less », the « more » must êbe transformedéinto figures, percentages, values... In short, we need to understand to what extent your action will été déterminate in your career !

For each position heldé quote facts and figures: the name of the company, your exact function, the function of your line manager (do you expect à any référence checks...) and, if échéant, the number of people you supervised.

If you’êre not débutant, it takes five minutes of éexposé, which is much longer than you think!!
Always start in  chronological order. Only mention your diplomaôme if it's directly related to the position offeredé this can only reassure the recruiter.

Your personal background....

Prépare yourself à more personal questions  : we need to understand how, as part of a move into a company, in view of today's mobility requirements, you will be able to fit in, manage your family commitments away from home for a certain period of time, and be able to commit to the position for the long term. These are the more personal questions to expect.

3ème étape : L’entretien....

The interview is the ultimate étape of your recruitment. You’ve réussi à hooked the recruiter’s intérêt and your profile l’intéresse, it’s where it all comes to play.....

Motivatedé you need to show your personalityé without being impertinent.... You need to show your worth without criticizing your predecessor companies.

You need to show your worth without criticizing your predecessor companies.

You need to show your worth.

The job interview is a dialogue, not an interrogation.... Don’t hesitate à to ask questions..... Indeed, the job interview is not à a one-way street.
You too want to know if the company is right for you. Ask for details about the position, the company’s organization.

There are different types of interviews: individual, group, situational...No two are alike because every situation is unique. You can take advantage of your experiences and make a post-interview analysis to sharpen your arguments for future interviews.

At the end of the interview, you'll have a clear idea of what you're talking about.

At the end of each interview with one of our consultants, you'll know whether your application fits perfectly with the profiles soughtéby our customers, and will have a precise réponse if you refuse to go any further.

We like people who love what they do, candidates who are passionateéand invested in their profession… !
