Kiabi recruits over 2,000 people in 2010
Hiring policy keeps pace with store openings. Kiabi does not échappe à the rule and announced this morning the recruitment of more than 2000 people for 2010: 1090 in France, 600 in Spain, 230 in Italy, 100 in Romania and 100 in Russia. Of these, 570 are executives. We passed the symbolic billion-euro sales mark in 2009," explains Christine Jutard, Kiabi's Human Resources Director, who joins from Décathlon. And we'll have 440 stores worldwide by the end of 2010". She adds: "In 2009, we recruited 2,500 people, including 800 in France.
All positions are concernedés: support functions (siège, collections, purchasing, informatics, HR) as well as store métiers (directors, sales managers,, customer advisorsèle). All levels too: from Bac Pro or BTS without professional experience for sales advisors à bac +5 with first experience for buyers or product managers. One third of all new hires are on sandwich courses, with the aim of éoffering a job à 80% of employees on sandwich courses. Not forgetting trainees (600 a year) and seniors. To comply éwith the law, Kiabi has signed éan agreement in which it undertakes àto hire 30 people over 50 every year for three years.
