2011 executive job market: 67% growth according to Apec

The Association pour l'emploi des cadres (APEC) has just published its monthly indicator of executive job vacancies. According to this étude, the executive employment marketéhas grown strongly over the last 12 months : + 67% from’August 2010 à July 2011, or 477 047 offers publishedées by Apec. 

The executive employment market is doing well in 2011. Indeed, Apec notes a large increase in the number of job offers publishedécompared to à last yearés figures. The figures from the Apec barometerèare extremely encouragingê160;:

  • + 54% job vacancies in July 2011 compared à 2010, i.e. 44 506 vacancies à filled,
  • + 67% of’job offers over the période from August 2010 à July 2011, i.e. 477 047 offers publishedées by Apec.

All functions experienced sustained growth over the period (August 2010 & July 2011), but particularly technical services, which recorded 84% growth. This is followed by the études, R&D function (+72%), industrial production (+70%), IT (+68%) and sales, marketing (+64%).

The only bémol concerning the health, social and culture function, which did not benefit from this sustained growth and posted a much lower increase of +16%.
