Informing workers about health and safety risks
The latest regulations on the posting of safety instructions have been published in the Official Journal:
Le décret n° 2010-78 du 21 janvier 2010 modifie ou complète les articles R. 4141-3-1 et R. 4227-37 du code du travail.
- Informing workers of the risks to their health and safety, the responsibility for which lies with à the employer, will now have to cover « the fire safety instructions and instructions mentioned à l’article R. 4227-37 as well as the identityéof the persons responsible for implementing éthe measures referred to à l’article R. 4227-38 » (5° de l’article R. 4141-3-1) and no longer only on, « le cas échéant, the sécurité et de premiers secours en cas d’incendie, prévues à l'article R. 4227-37 ».
- For its part, article R. 4227-37, relating to fire safety instructions, is supplemented by a new paragraph, under the terms of which « In other établissements, instructions are établies, making it possible to ensure the rapid evacuation of persons occupiedées or réunies in the premises. »
This article is thus désormais rédigé : « Dans les établissements mentionnés à l’article R. 4227-34, fire safety instructions are établished and prominentlyédisplayed :
1° In each room for premises with more than éfive people and for premises mentionedés à l’article R. 4227-24 ;
2° In each premises or in each clearance serving a group of premises in other cases.
In other établissements, instructions are établies, making it possible to ensure the rapid evacuation of people occupiedées or réunies in the premises. »
