A new agency of the réseau Alphea conseil set up shop in early November in the Place Gardin business district, a stone's throw from downtown Caen. In a chic industrial decor, the recruitment consultancy is run by a Norman at heart, 32-year-old Gaëlle Baucheron. Her added value? Anticipating the needs of companies by seeking out candidates eager to evolve.

A territorial strategy
Born in Caen, the capital of Calvados, Gaëlle Baucheron has an excellent knowledge of the employment area of Normandy, a region to which she is very attached. This is why it wishes to contribute to its development :

Accompanied by Lucas Desmenez, Director of North and Brittany Operations, Gaëlle Baucheron has set up adevelopment strategy on the territory, both in the short and longer term.
"The difference with other recruitment players is that we start from the candidate, particularly on job vacancies. We look for candidates who listen to the market to find the ideal candidate who will meet the company's needs. Right now, there are a lot of positions to fill for few candidates. The strength of Alphea conseil is to adapt to the market and be flexible," comments the agency director.
Business sectors
To meet the immediate needs of companies in the region, particularly for skilled labor, the recruitment consultancy has chosen to focus, initially, on the business sectors that are finding it hardest to recruit. Each consultant specializes in certain sectors: the BTP andindustry for Gaëlle Baucheron, the accounting, the commercial, thelegal and the information technology for his collaborator, Marie Granjus, recruitment consultant.

The agency will gradually expand by integrating other consultants, with other sector specializations.
A diverse career
After a degree in human resources, Gaëlle Baucheron began her career in 2015 as manager of an optical store, where she forged her skills in profit center management. Two years later, she decided to return to her first love, human resources. She then turned to temping agencies, where she specialized in the industry, logistics and transport sectors.
"That's when I started to discover placement. Unlike the one-off, short-lived needs that temping meets, placement enables us to take on a candidate on a long-term basis, with a professional project. That's what I like best."
That's why, after 4 years in temping, Gaëlle didn't hesitate for a moment to apply as a recruitment agency manager at Alphea conseil.
"I found all the values I was looking for in the company : the desire to put people back at the heart of the business, high standards, quality and benevolence. "
Development projects in prospect
Gaëlle has no shortage of projects:
"I didn't apply just to be in charge of an agency. For me, it's a real life project. I've chosen my team, the atmosphere of the premises, it's my baby that I'm building," the young woman enthuses.
In addition, the new director plans to offer HR consulting to companies, but also bilan de skills, and all the expertise available within the réseau Alphea conseil.
