State civil service: skills assessment clarified

The terms and conditions of the skills assessment now available to civil servants have just been set out. The skills assessment serves to éfinalize a professional project and, where appropriate échéant, a training project. It enables employees to analyze their professional skills, aptitudes and motivations.

It's a very useful tool, as it enables us to help you develop your career plan.

Assessment of professional skills is available to:
- civil servants who have completed ten years of actual service, with a view to functional or geographic mobility,
- agents non titulaire de l'Etat ou de ses établissements publics ainsi que les ouvriers des établissements publics industriels de l'Etat affiliés au régime des pensions.

The request may êbe initiatedéby the agent or by the administration. The administration responds within two months. A tripartite agreement must be signed between the employee, the administration and a service provider (internal or external to the administration) before the skills assessment can be carried out. The assessment is carried out in accordance with the procedures used in the private sector. At the end of the assessment, the service provider gives the employee a summary documentèse à.
