The upturn in executive employment is confirmed
A recent éAPEC survey covering the 1er quarter 2011 reveals that 56% of companies surveyedéhiredé at least 1 manager in the 1er quarter 2011, up 6 points on the 1er quarter 2010 and 12 points on 2009 and 2008.
53% of companies plan to recruit at least 1 manager in the 2ndèth quarter, 10 points more than in the 2ndèth quarter in 2010 and 17 points more than in the 2ndèth quarter 2009.....

In fact, since the beginning of the year, weéve been witnessing à a real upturn in growth and employment, particularly for experienced managersérimentés and young managers with between 1 and 4 yearséexpériences. However, young graduateséméseem to have more difficultyés à finding their first job.
Job offers are upé by 69% compared to the 1er quarter 2010.
This upturn in activityé seems to be particularly affecting 2 regionségions : Ile-de-France and Rhône- Alpes.
Les secteurs d'activités touchés par la croissance :
- IT would account forénearly 17% of recruitment (between 29 000 and 32 000 managers)
- Research and development offices would account for 20% (i.e. nearly 30 000 new hires)
- The finance sector is expected to continue the pace of hiring observedé in 2010 picking up 8% (i.e. 14 000 new hires)
- The hottest sector continues to be retail, which accounts for 25% of new hires, with nearly 40 000 managers for 2011...
