The momentum in executive employment continues!

First-half 2011 : qu'elle embellie pour les cadres....

Last year, executives éwere rather pessimistic about the économic future. Today, the good économic surprises of the 1er quarter in France, seem to have acted as a’électrochoc : executives’outlooks are improving in a spectacular way éunseen since the beginning of the crisis...

In fact, according to a recent éstudy, 19% of executives will anticipate opportunitieséto advance their careerère in the coming months and 24% think their personal financial situation will improveèamélier. In addition, motivation is itself on the rise : 40% of managers consider their employees  « motivés »;

« All the indicators are green », argued the Minister of the Economy on May 13. This sentence underlined the return of significant growth in activityé in the first quarter:   1% growth, 0.6% rise in household consumption, increase in industrial production and the general drop in the number of jobseekers. (légère fall in unemployment rate in 1er quarter 2010 to passé à 9.2% instead of 9.6% in 4ème quarter 2010)

This à medium-term outlook is essential: it illustrates the réalityé of the recovery within companies, but also reflects a return of confidence unpreécédent for nearly three years.
Even if the employment and purchasing power situation remains difficult in our country, and the international situation is still very unstable, executives are rather optimistic.

As another étude points out où after declines in 2009 of 1.6%  and in 2010 of 1.9% in 2010, executive salaries are set to start à up again. In 2011, they should gain an average of 2.9%... All sectors seem to be affectedés : sales and marketing functions are in particularly good shape, with hiring salaries up by 4.9%, business engineersénieurs  (+11%), chargésé(+9.1%), product managers (+4.2%),  accounting and finance professionals (+4%), management controllers (+10.8%), administrative and financial managers (+9.3%).
