A dynamic autumn for the job market

According to the French Ministry of the Economy and Employment, July 2010 saw a drop in the number of jobseekers for the 2nd consecutive month... something that has not happened for several months....

At’origin : creation of 10é000 jobs per month, fewer redundancy plans, intérim à rise, young graduates in vogue....

Over the past 12 months, the volume of online job offers has increasedé by 18%. Most business sectors have été touchedés : finance, commerce, marketing, banking, logistics...and this across the whole country with a strong increase  in Ile de France and the North ..... This figure remains the highest élevé observedé in 2010....

Online recruitment is on the rise in almost all professional categories...

Another positive sign : URSSAF recordedé an increase on déclarations d’embauches (+ 3, 5% more) and a 6, 5% rise for CDIs....

Companies are recruiting à again, and almost 25% use recruitment agencies.... After a reduction in their costs, new needs are emerging....particularly for young graduateséméaware of new technologies.

According to a survey conducted by the French Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industry, the number of new recruits has risen by more than 25% in recent years.

According to Edhec, more than two-thirds of the companies surveyed say they have recruited young people at Master 2 level since the beginning of the year. For example, L’Oréal announcedé the end of the hiring freeze décidé in début d’année.

In fact, 44% of companies intend to hire young people, compared with 36% last year....
