Alphéa Conseil sets up in Vannes: meet the firm's new manager: Cédric Séveno

Cedric Seveno (1)

The Alphéa Conseil network continues to expand in Bretagne with the opening of a second practice in the region, located in Vannes. This new location, headed by Cédric Séveno, a retail expert, strengthens the human resources consulting offering in Morbihan. His international background and multilingual skills bring considerable added value to the service of companies in Vannes.

A local expert at the service of Vannes-based businesses

A native of Pontivy and educated in Vannes, Cédric Séveno returns to his hometown after an impressive career path with Decathlon, where he quickly progressed to positions of great responsibility.
"I started managing teams at the age of 22, with employees of all ages, from student contracts to 35-hour permanent contracts. This early experience enabled me to develop a pragmatic approach to management", explains Cédric Séveno.

His career path accelerated with his first department responsibility in Lannion, then in Brest, where he managed a team of 15 people. In Saint-Brieuc, he took charge of customer service and personal management, managing and leading over 80 employees. His expertise was further enhanced when he was responsible for personnel management throughout Brittany.

In 2023, after a year's experience as a store manager in Padua, Italy, this seasoned professional decided to return to Vannes to put his expertise at the service of local businesses.
"From 2016, I started recruiting a lot, between 10 and 20 profiles a year. I learned the importance of anticipating recruitment needs and placing the right profile in the right place at the right time", he stresses, a skill he now puts at the service of Vannes-based companies.

A comprehensive HR services offering for Morbihan companies

Alphéa Conseil Vannes offers a "360°" capable of responding to all the HR issues of local companies: executive and non-executive recruitment, outplacement, executive coaching and training.
"Our vision is really to support companies in Vannes as collaborators, side by side, thanks to ournearness and expertise. Our membership of a national network enables us to respond to 100% of HR issues, whatever the business sector", explains the new manager.

His experience in training is particularly valuable. At Decathlon Italy, he designed and deployed training modules to boost the skills of retail managers, creating a complete pathway for managers. "I had to show great adaptability to meet these challenges, particularly when we renewed 80% of the management team in Padua, recruiting and integrating 8 managers in record time."

According to the recent enquête BMO (Besoin en Main d'Œuvre), "80% of companies have abandoned recruitment projects in 2025 because they haven't found the right candidates", analyzes Cédric Séveno.
In Vannes specifically, there are 10,570 executive recruitment projects planned, 70% of which are deemed difficult by employers. "The major challenge is to meet the expectations of companies in areas that are once again becoming very attractive. Despite an uncertain economic context, the Vannes employment basin remains very dynamic. It would be a mistake to stop recruiting: we need to remain attentive to the constantly changing market."

Ambitions and development in South Brittany

"Vannes is an ultra-attractive market, in a magnificent region. The département is constantly on the move, with an exceptional diversification of activities, from maritime to hospitality, via agri-food, healthcare and retail," enthuses Cédric Séveno.

He also stresses the importance of the good, highly-rated schools present in Vannes, which help attract and train new talent. "Our challenge is twofold: to attract new skilled populations and to retain our young talent in our territory."

Among the sectors identified as particularly promising:

A man of challenges and projects, Cédric Séveno defines himself first and foremost as a Vannes entrepreneur who intimately understands the issues facing local managers."Having studied in Vannes, and as a business owner, I understand the issues facing local managers. This local knowledge, combined with my location in Vannes, enables me to accurately identify the profiles best suited to their needs."

His double knowledge of the market - both candidates and companies in Vannes - is a decisive advantage. "I already have a portfolio of quality CVs and a precise mapping of the skills available in the employment area. My approach is simple: problem = concrete solution, adapted to the Vannes context."

With strong territorial roots, he is keen to establish lasting partnerships:"As an expert in the local market, I'm not looking for one-off collaborations, but genuine relationships of trust to support Morbihan companies in their long-term development. My added value is my in-depth knowledge of the Vannes ecosystem."
