Nicolas Bertrand officially inaugurated his recruitment firm on November 15, in Montauban: Alphéa Conseil. Here, he is already developing long-term relationships with local companies, assisting them with their recruitment.

Agency manager Nicolas Bertrand and consultant Louanne Abar are part of the current team, which is already looking to expand.
"We're looking for a 3rd person to complete our team, with different areas of expertise to ours to create complementarity. We're also trying to set up autonomous management", comments Nicolas.
Former recruitment consultant at the Alphéa Conseil de Toulouse agency, Nicolas has moved on to become agency manager.
"I like the relationship and I find the candidate approach fascinating, at Alphéa Conseil: first we ask the person where their project lies, what might "thrill" them, then we look to see if a position is likely to suit them. It has to be a total match."

Multi-sector expertise
The Montauban branch manager and the Midi-Pyrénées regional manager divide the work between them, depending on the city. Nicolas accompanied the latter in the development of the Toulouse agency for two years, before continuing with Montauban.
"My core business is business development. As I'm a very curious person, I deal with different sectors: optics, medical, transport, housing...", Nicolas explains. As a salesman, he has acquired methods and skills that enable him to get to know companies quickly: "I start by carrying out a market study to get both a global and precise view of a sector. This then legitimizes the fact that I'm able to bring the best profiles to customers."

Also, Nicolas maintains his network and meets lots of businesses. "I'm one of Greater Montauban's ambassadors. The town is well positioned and dynamic in terms of business creation. But, what's important for me is to work with ethical companies, which have values and benevolent management."

Relationship above all
A native of the Gers, Nicolas Bertrand is a young man in his thirties who loves human contact. His career choices bear witness to this. After graduating with a DUT in marketing techniques and a degree in business development, he took up a position as business manager in B to B for a telephony operator. This experience gave him the opportunity to build up a substantial network.
Then, he accepted a position as an account manager with an insurance company, before joining Alphéa Conseil in Toulouse, in 2019. In the meantime, the agency has grown from 2 to 7 employees, and Nicolas cut his teeth there as a human resources consultant, before flying off on his own to Montauban.
His plans? "To dedicate myself fully to the success of ambitious companies, supporting them over the long term in their strategic, commercial and HR thinking!"
