Alphéa Conseil continues to grow and opens a recruitment office in Valenciennes!
Since 2007, the Alphéa Conseil network has been constantly optimizing its presence, as close as possible to candidates and each employment area. In August 2022, the cabinet in Valenciennes thus opened its doors, harmoniously completing our locations in the region Hauts-de-France, with agencies in Lille, Arras and Amiens.

1. Could you briefly summarize your background for us?
After initial training in Marketing and Communication, I made the decision to quickly enter the professional world. Marketing assistant, development officer with companies in the Valenciennois region, associate in a first temporary employment agency... I have deployed my skills in different sectors of activity, which today enable me to take up this new challenge: to manage, in close collaboration with Lucas Desmenez, Director of Operations Grand Nord, the new Valenciennes office.
2. Beyond your knowledge of the region's employment pool, why did you accept this challenge?

During my interview with Lucas Desmenez, I immediately realized that I shared all the network's values. The planets really seemed aligned for this collaboration withAlphéa Conseil to quickly materialize!

3. Is Alphea Conseil's work process very specific and if so, what is it?
It's specific because it's global. When we "source" a person from our pools, we are keen to detect profiles of people whose skills are in demand locally. We take the time to get to know them, to find out what they're looking for, what they don't want anymore... and we offer their candidacy to companies whose needs we knowneeds. It's also important to check that the aspirations and values of the candidate match those of the company.
Once again, before being a professional,an employee is first and foremost a human being! If the latter needs a "helping hand", we can do a "mini-training" for the job interview together, on our premises. On this occasion, we can also "brief" the candidate as best we can on the needs and expectations of the company. Useful and valuable information, which can really make the difference in front of a HRM or company executive.
But our support doesn't end with the signing of the contract, as we follow the person recruited right through to the end of their trial period. So, for Alphéa Conseil Valenciennes, recruitment is always "hand-sewn"! And we want to develop our business in this way across all the sectors that recruit in our region.
4. Specifically, can you give us a map of the trades that are recruiting in the Valenciennois?
The Far North represents the gateway to Northern Europe. Benefiting from excellent road, motorway, rail and airport links, certain business sectors, such asindustry - particularly rail - but also transport, logistics, the BTP, naturally find their place in this specific geographical location. Other sectors, such as agri-food, supply chain, but also support functions - transversal to all these activities - such as Human Resources, accounting-management... complete the range of activities developing in our territory.
5. Which profiles are most sought after by Alphea Conseil Valenciennes?
All candidates who have already acquired specific expertise in these business sectors are welcome. This is particularly the case for expert profiles, for example, in industry, where we are recruiting maintenance technicians. In logistics, positions in short supply, such as charterers, are particularly prized. Finally, in accounting, chartered accountants or accounting assistants in firms are actively sought. |
6. How do you see yourself in the network in the medium term?
The prospects offered to candidates are very interesting, which also reinforces my interest in working with Alphea Conseil. With our 24 offices open throughout France and Belgium, and our many plans to open new offices, the range of assignments is constantly expanding.
In this context, I intend to develop the Valenciennes office in strict compliance with the values of the network. To do this, with my colleagues Estelle and Jonathan, each responsible for developing dedicated business sectors, we deploy specific sourcing actions.
To Jonathan, a former employee in an HR department, the fields of transport, logistics and Supply Chain. To Estelle, also from the recruitment background, the development of the industrial sector.
7. What is your project at Alphea Conseil?
Through the deployment of a rigorous approach methodology, we offer companies in the Valenciennes region profiles 100% adapted to their values and needs. Always a winning match, the result of a strong requirement for skills.
Over time, we aim to maintain a pool of 8 to 12 active candidates in each job sought, whom we will support and place. A commitment that will help make our candidates happy, while meeting theskills needs of local businesses!
