Where can I find a directory of recruitment agencies?
With the plethora of recruitment agencies in existence today, (I had to stop êter à about 1700 recruitment agencies for tonight...), I must confess that I finally gave up à répertorier them... Not that I didn't feel like it, but if I had to update it on a daily basis, I think that à my retirement à 65 years old (well... by then I don't think we'll be far from it), I wouldn't have finished this veryèinteresting exercise...! And as I have 2 or 3 things à to do between now and then...
Even more so as for the last few months, they've been growing like mushrooms in an undergrowth afterès a nice spring rain…, close your eyes and smell, I'm sure you can picture yourself déjà with your basket à in hand .…
Well then, you'll tell me, « so how do I go about choosing mine out of your 1,700 recruiting firms »
Like a good cooking recipe, I'm going to try to help you in what can representéan obstacle course for anyone looking for a job...
If it may seem éempty to you, to make a good omelette, you first need œeggs. It is also évident that to choose well "YOUR" interlocutor, you will have to choose the one who has the knowledge, expérience and compétence of the business sector visé.... It also seems éobvious that a retail professional will find it easier éto assess and propose your application in this sector of activityé if he/she has experience and knowledge of retail... At least you'll be able to talk about what you know without having to explain everything...! That's even better, isn't it?
In the same way that an engineer looking for a job in the building trade will find it much harder to sell his application à a recruitment professional in the automotive industry, for example... (I still trust myself a little because these engineers know how to do everything...!)
.Once you know you've got the right ingrédients (for ça you'll see, that's the heart talking...), you'll be able to démar the recipe. Just as you have to beat the egg whites to get the egg whites to rise, so too will your "partner" in your professional project... He'll have to grill you (décidément...) to find out who you êtes, and what you know how to do.... And only he will be able to évaluate, in the light of the mission that has été entrusted to himée, the requirements of the company looking for that rare pearl hiding inside you, whether it's your application that's the right one...!
What a joy it is to be able to work on a professional project with a candidate and be able to tell him/her that it's a réussite! It's only by knowing perfectly well the company you're applying for that your consultant will be able to put forward your application, not that you'll be the best... (although...) but above all because your application matches the position offeredé... And it's only this recipe that can work... Your « Marc Veyrat » recruiter will then have done what he had to, because every morning, his one and only goal is to find you that good recipe… !
